What is (STA) Short Term Accommodation?
Short term Accommodation offers an opportunity for people with disability to
meet new people, try new activities and develop new skills.
Short-term accommodation is arranged usually within a group-based facility and is in periods of up to 14 days at a time. This service may be used for the purposes of:
- Preparing to move out of home
- Increasing independence and life skills
- Developing new relationships
- Maintaining familial relationships
